Tedja is a self-owned fashion label.

We only work with small batches. Everything is made in our atelier in Amsterdam. We make everything ourselves: from cutting the patterns and fabrics to sewing your pieces together with love.

Letter from Cylia (owner of Tedja)

"As the world keeps going faster, I’ve decided to go slower. The last couple of years we’ve had the pleasure of designing timeless pieces. We’ve done smaller and bigger production over the years. It’s hard not to get caught up in the ratrace if you don’t intentionally slow down.

Our loyal customers have followed the journey since 2018 and together with you, I want to continue making an impact the way I’ve envisioned when we started the brand. The core of the brand has always been about craftsmanship, sustainability and seasonless clothing. Pieces that you wear on a daily basis.

Tedja focuses even more on sustainability: making garments with intention is better for the planet as we strive to be zero waste. We’re zooming in on our bestsellers and making more use of dead stock fabrics."

Behind the name

Tedja comes from: Tedjawirja. It means rainbow. When the sun and the rain meet, nature shows us a rainbow. When it's both scary yet exciting, that's where the magic happens…
